My Dad “got lucky”

Fin24 recently published an article in which user Neil Vorster ( of Organic Growth) tells how he financed his daughters' university education from the rewards he reaped from townhouse investments.  Most of the published responses to Neil's children education funding plan were very positive, but one gentlemen said Neil "got lucky" that time!   Neil's daughter Sam sent the following response to the FIN24 published article:

I am one of Neil's daughters (the one studying nature conservation) and have not only reaped the benefits of my dad's ability to provide an education that only few can dream of, but also have a mentor who has schooled me in the ways of property even before I wanted to know about it.  This means I can follow my dreams without a worry about earning enough, or worrying about a pension or anything.  I'm covered! Sam Vorster, aged 24

Two weeks after Fin24 published these articles, close to 20 000 viewers had read them. The day before this Fin24 article was published, an article by Magnus Heystek was also published on Moneyweb wherein he said buy to let investment was a “bad idea”. eNCA (DSTV Channel 403) saw the interest and the opposing views and invited Neil and Magnus to a live debate on prime time news. A recording of the debate can be found here Clearly this is testimony of a successful education funding plan  that is of interest to the public.
